We loved Rome! We took a train from the ship in Livorno to Rome and saw some of the Italian countryside. Once we arrived we had the day to wander on our own. We had real Italian Gelato which was amazing. We saw the Pantheon, The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, The outside of the Vatican and Neptune's Fountain. We were so tired from walking all day but we found a little pizza place and had a rest. We ended the day with a beautiful sunset. It was a place we will be planning to go back to for a week to see more of the city.
