Azulejos Tile Museum in Lisboa

Here are some of the hand painted tiles from the lovely museum in Lisboa.  It was a very nice place to see some art and history.  This museum is off the path of cruise ship tours so it doesn't get the crowds like other places in the city.  There is also a nice cafe for food and drinks.  Plan on spending several hours because the place is huge.

There was an enclosed area we were able to take a picture of where they put the tiles together.  Do you love puzzles?



This one was floor to at least 10 feet tall

I have no idea what this is supposed to represent but the detail is amazing.


I like how the artist captured the little details.

Mr. Hat would be right at home in this shop.




This stairway to the slower area was beautiful.
