This is Oriente Train Station where we came in from Coimbra to Lisbon.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel they demanded to visit the spa pool
Drunky Monkies ......this is only water!
Walking around the Alfama District we heard yelling and turned around to see much gesturing. The black car is not supposed to be on the road the same time the trams are and he ran into the back of it.
Because of the man driving the car, the trams are all backed up. He has to pay a fine for the time he caused the delays of each tram.
The boys decided to take over driving one of the trams.
This was a display of toilet paper in a public rest room. I later saw them at the grocery store!
The entrance to the museum for Azulejos Tiles
We took the underground Metro and saw this on the wall.
This is a small area of a giant representation of the earth made out of marble on the ground at the Discoveries Monument in Belem. The Portuguese made it to Japan in 1541.
Portuguese explorers on the monument appear to be looking at what they think is a bird . I wonder what unimaginable things will be part of daily life in 500 years.
They are so cute

Pizza at Restaurante Casanavoa is at the cruise terminal. Locals were lined up before the door opened for lunch and by the time we were finished with our meal the place was packed and had a line waiting to get in the door.
Honorato Hamburgueres Artesanias just down the street from Pastel de Belem . The burger was really good!
Right by the river with plenty of restaurants and cafes.

One of the three cruise ships in port that day is going under the 25 of April Bridge. Yes, it was made to look like the Golden Gate Bridge.
